The MiniMod Multi Burst Envelopes is a unique sequencing modulation module that combines aspects of classic envelopes and sequencing. It’s made for creating many different types of repeating envelopes. They can increase, decrease, or remain at a constant level over time. The module has a wide range of controls. The Burst control selects a “burst sequencer” of between 1 and 40 individual envelopes. You can choose the envelope shape manually with the rotary switch or via a CV. So it’s possible to choose a different envelope shape for each individual burst in a sequence. Then, you can shape the width of the envelope (attack/decay time) with the P-WIDTH control manually or with CV as a sequence is progressing. This allows you to vary the envelope speed of each individual envelope burst while a Burst sequence is running. There is a built-in LFO with rate control that sets the repeat time of the individual bursts. The LFO rate can be varied using an external CV so you can speed up or slow down the gap between the envelopes. According to the motto mind the gap, hehe. An external clock can also time the bursts in a burst sequence instead of, or in addition to the internal LFO. Bursts can also be manually incremented with the CLK push button. Lastly, you have a slope control that allows Burts to start either quietly and build in level to maximum or vice versa.
