About Silver Silver is a suite of Acqua plug-ins consisting of three FREE players available in the following formats: VST, VST3, AAX, and AU and dedicated to emulating reverbs of physical spaces and sampled equipment. Silver is an amazing project that has taken a long time to design and develop and has paid off considerably given the incredible results obtained, in fact, we have finally given birth to a new generation of cutting-edge reverb plug-ins. Silver – Volume D In detail Silver Volume D includes 54 different emulations from a vintage Digital Reverberation under the name/category 'Ebony 251'. In the ‘Spaces category’ there are available (under the menu voice 'EBONY 251') 54 different emulations according to: the desired reverb time (from 0 to 6), two parameters Dark (from 0 to 2) – Bright (from 0 to 2). Under the ‘Preset category’ there are 5 different choices according to the reverb time (from 0 to 6). Higher time values generally result in more low frequency content in the reverb tail, boosting the reverbs low end can make it sound bigger and warmer. Silver - Volume D is based on a famous vintage reverb unit released in 1976. It was built by a famous German company who had an eye for the development of artificial reverbs. Their 140 plate reverb changed the trajectory of mixing music in the late 1950s. Over time, as technology advanced bringing the flexibility of digital to the table so did this company, producing this unit which even today is considered by many to be one of the best sounding digital reverbs in the world. The Ebony 251 reverb can add amazing depth and flexibility to your mix. This amazing, shimmering reverb has contributed its undisputed quality to dozens of critically acclaimed albums by bands such as Queen, AC/DC, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Yes, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, and many others. In detail Silver - Volume E includes 32 different emulations from a vintage Digital Reverberator under the name/category 'Lace60'. In the ‘Spaces category’ there are available (under the menu voice 'Lace60') 32 different emulations ccording to: the desired reverb time (from 1 to 4), reverb type (Room or Plate) and Size (from 1 to 4). Under the ‘Preset category’ there are 4 different choices according to the reverb time (from 1 to 4). This reverb can be considered a real 'Evergreen', it is part of a long series of time-based digital audio processors from a famous American company. Almost 30 years after its first appearance, this device is still very popular. It was released in 1984 and is still a very beautiful reverb box, easy to use, with a truly unique sound. The quality of its effect is extremely high indeed. It is a true digital reverb that produces a totally 'realistic' end result that can enhance any recording it is used on. NOTE: In addition to the intrinsic characteristics of the reverb, thanks to Acustica's technology, you can also appreciate the harmonic distortion component of the unit in this emulation.
