The Q8’s modular design allows the user to set it up for static capturing or strip it back to a camcorder for mobile use. The 160-degree fixed wide-angle lens captures 4K, with 10 scene presets to speed up the workflow in both indoor and outdoor lighting conditions. Capture-wise, it’s possible to record audio and video separately, or as a single MOV file. Besides the rotating LCD touchscreen for easy navigation, the Q8 also has Mini HDMI for external playback and uses USB for streaming and data transfer.
