Physical Audio releases Derailer v3.1 with Intro Offer Physical Audio Physical Audio has announced the release of a major new version of their physical modelling instrument Derailer. This new version of Derailer has been rewritten from scratch incorporating an extended model using a driver and resonator setup. Built entirely from physical models of strings, bars and spring connections, this new version delivers a wide range of sounds from cutting leads to huge soundscapes. Derailer uses physical models of 3 basic elements; strings which can be plucked or bowed, metal bars which can be pitched or act as resonators, and nonlinear springs which can be used to connect resonators together to form a network. The physical parameters of the driver and resonator provide a flexible system which can be configured to create your own unique instruments. Features: 5 excitations options: plucked strings, bowed strings, pitched bars, sawtooth and multi-striker. Effects units including low-pass resonant filter, delay and overdrive. Resonator network using up to 5 metal bars and 10 nonlinear springs. The plugin is available in standard formats for macOS and Windows, and can be tested in demo mode. Into Price:$125/ 90 through September 2021 (Reg. $179/130). |
