EXC!TE Snare Drum‘s algorithms are tuned by ear to resemble snare drums of different sizes, different tip hardnesses, rimshot sounds and adjustable snare rattle. The instrument is available to download for free as a VST3 plugin. There’s also a Pro version ($19.99 USD) which adds a side-chain input, frequency shift for playing different resonances with external input, and a crunch parameter to change the timbre of the snare rattle sound.
